Nelson’s Beef Ribs
The Nelsons – Ted and his Korean (which probably explains the soy sauce and the great flavor) wife whose name I forgot (Jeannie???)(I apologize, Mrs. Nelson), lived above us in military housing in Fuerth, Germany back in 1991 and 1992. This is actually Mrs. Nelson’s recipe:
- beef ribs (pork works, too)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 green onion
- 1 tsp sesame seed oil (regular works also)
- black pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp soya sauce
Marinate for at least one hour – or over night – and barbecue.
