This was a really great Christmas/New Year's Season. My parents arrived from Germany on December 22nd and stayed until January 5th - it was the first Christmas we'd spent together since 1991. That's 17 years - practically half my life!!! And to make it even better, Melanie, Corodon, & Dave arrived Christmas Eve. They could only stay until the 28th, but we were all together for Christmas. NICE!!!!

In the foyer of the wax museum downtown San Antonio, there sits Forest Gump on his bench with his box of chocolates. It's ok to sit next to him and take pictures. I am having fun taking everybody who comes to visit there for their Gump Shot.

Just a few current pictures - we had our regular Thanksgiving - just the 3 of us and a turkey breast, and the boys do their annual - look like a dork with a napkin on my head - thing.... They made me do it, too - but that photos is NOT going up here!!!! And I also finally painted the upstairs guestroom this week, so there's the before and after picture.

I left work Friday and headed straight for the beach. Around 7:30 I got to the condo on Mustang Island, where Amanda, Grace, Grace's mom Debby and sister Candy were already enjoying the ocean.

Eric and Phillip went on a motorcycle trip from San Antonio to New Orleans.

I'd been wanting to do this since we first moved here - but it never happened until last week!!! I met with 2 of the girls from the ol' job and we drove to Rockin' R. We took the 4-hour ride, which took almost 6 hours, and we had so much fun. It would have been totally perfect, had I not severely hit my hip/back in the first rapids and could barely walk once we got out of the water - but I was much better 4 days later, and am ready to go again. Who wants to come along?
